British women's tennis number one Emma Raducanu is been unveiled as the new global brand ambassador for HSBC.
With a focus on "championing internationalism, inclusivity and opportunity for young people", Emma joins the bank in a 4-year partnership.
Emma made tennis history when in 2021, she became the youngest British player to win the US Open. Since then, her authenticity, talent and determination have made a global impact outside of tennis. As an international citizen celebrating a multicultural lifestyle.
The partnership is built around making the younger generation more aware about the world of finance.
The bank is committing to providing a world of opportunities for customers and communities around the world. From supporting local initiatives to help children discover the physical and mental benefits of sport. And enabling many more people to participate in and enjoy sport.
The US Open champion commented 'To partner with HSBC is so natural for me having grown up playing in the HSBC Road to Wimbledon and having been a customer for many years. If I wasn't a tennis player, I would definitely want to work in finance. So I'm excited to learn more about the industry in the years to come. We are working on some really cool ideas and I'm particularly looking forward to working on initiatives that help young people such as financial education but watch this space!'.
The collaboration between Raducanu and HSBC, revealing through a video. Via the video, Raducanu spoke about how both share the same values and interests, championing internationalism, inclusivity and providing opportunity for the younger generation.
HSBC is also the Official Banking Partner of Wimbledon Championship, working around the Grand Slam’s ticket resale programme.
